Reporting basics
By knowing how people use your site, you can make informed decisions
about where to place ads to increase revenue, and better tailor your
content to your readers’ interests. Be sure to take a look at these
reports:
- The Sites report tells you which sites in your account have the most views. Place more ads on the sites that attract the most visitors.
- The Platforms report
shows you the devices that visitors use to access your site. If more
than 30% of your traffic comes from mobile devices, try creating a
mobile site or using responsive ads that fit all screens.
- The Countries report shows where your visitors are located. Use it to create content relevant to your users, so they keep coming back.
Remember: your day-to-day earnings can fluctuate for
many reasons (including the campaigns advertisers are running, and what
they're choosing to pay), so look at the bigger picture when making
decisions for your site design.
